Yarraville with Footscray bookends

I don't usually walk through this little mall thing between Albert St and Nicholson St but it was raining a lot

This is where I used to get my clothes tailored by a Polish man called Stan - he was what my mother would call a "ciężkie krawiec" (heavy tailor), working with woollen coats, jackets, and other things your typical tailor would be loath to do. He always did a fantastic job and asked very little in the way of remuneration. Unfortunately he died last year. His shop was empty for a while but is now being renovated by someone. It will probably become a cafe.

This will probably become a cafe too

So many abandoned houses on Williamstown Rd just waiting to be demolished and replaced with something really ugly

Abandoned supermarket

Maybe all of these abandoned buildings will become cafes

Thanks for the obstruction

Why would you do this

This was once a barber who is now gone. The building was yellow but whoever bought it decided to be the most boring person on this planet

I live a ten minute walk away but had no idea these shops existed until yesterday

Sad what they did to this pub
