It was so cold today I wore a leather jacket under a woollen coat
Back to regular programming - things I've seen from a bus or car

One day I really need to get off the bus and go look at this from the other side

Great sunset today
Why don't houses look like this? I'd live here
RIP capsicums
Flour mill in Newport, it's abandoned (see more photos here). I have a lot of stories about this place but the shortest one is that I found a bag containing a handheld radio and a huge spanner wrapped in cloth stashed under some stairs - I obviously took it and the spanner is still in my car almost 10 years later
The sunset mentioned earlier but for some reason none of these images are in order. I'm fine with that

What's new
There's been a lot of rain and I've been very tired and having second and third dinners and ridiculously vivid dreams, in that order. Still feels like winter! I don't know whether to love it or hate it but I think coming back from a late European summer makes me feel far more out-of-sorts than I normally would be. Send positive thoughts please

Hi hi hi
Well I'm back, in Australia that is (and maybe generally too, seeing as I haven't posted anything substantial in ages). The weather is nice (I can't believe that's the only thing I have to comment on) but it's annoying to go from late European summer to the start of Australian spring, it's very same-y and to be honest I could've done with a week of cold/rain/whatever
Actually, weather isn't the only thing I have to talk about - an Interesting Thing That Happened is that I bought a dining table for $30, under the impression it was a Grant Featherston knock-off, but when I checked the makers mark later it turns out that it was produced under his tenure as a design director of some kind at the Glen Waverley firm Aristoc. It's from the "Scape" series and now I have to track down the matching dining chairs because why not. If I'm going to fixate on something it may as well be mid-century Australian furniture

This had cladding on it for the longest time. I would've taken a better photo but I was holding a giant bag of cat food
There used to be a BP service station here
Wild 900i spotted
